I got do I wasn’t getting much done and mostly staring blankly at the computer. And the butterflies would fly through the yard, teasing me from afar.
I did the sensible thing.
I took a break, with the dogs, sitting quietly on the bench by the fence. Despite watching for butterfly shadows (the fastest way to spot them, in my experience) I missed the first 3 fly through.
And then I got this. The first of, I hope, many butterfly photos thus year!
Mission accomplished. Cup replenished. Heart lightened. May you feel the healing and lift, too.
