Love Notes From the Universe

Now that spring is showing off her sparkling wares, I’m spending a lot more time with my camera.

I take pictures.

A lot of pictures.

And it’s so wonderful to share them. Mostly on Facebook.

What I share on Facebook: more than photos - love notes from the Universe.I am nearly unstoppable in my picture taking-sharing. Always something more. Always something radiating Beauty. Often something that will cause you to pause. Sometimes something surprising, or something you can’t quite see right away.

Yes, that’s by design.

All of it.

The Beauty, the pause, the Wonder and the wonder-what.

I’m still learning. Learning and re-learning and learning again that the Universe is always there for me – for you – for us.

She wants us to remember so that we’re ready when the good stuff happens.

She wants us to feel all those feelings so our hearts are unlocked, broken-open, so all that we need can flow through us.

She wants us to trust her.

She leaves us notes of love scrawled in the language of Beauty and Wonder. Whispering our stories to us in shimmering curves. Revealing the keys to the world in tiny droplets. Awakening our very souls with sensuous hues.

With my camera in hand I feel like an explorer, like the heroine in a brightly colourful adventure game.

Until I see one of her love notes.

Once my eyes see the Beauty, the flow of my heart rules.

Everything else falls away.

Once my eyes see the Beauty, the flow of my heart rules.I feel lifted, connected, whole, grateful.

It’s like swimming, no, like floating, in a river flowing with everything I need.

The real Wonder of it is that it happens again and again.

And that I can share it with you.

Because it’s not really the pictures I want to share with you, it’s her love notes.

It’s the way her Beauty and Wonder make me feel.

In a world where even bright hearts and well-meaning souls spend their time mired in the sad and the corrupt and the dangerous, she still wants us to see her.

To trust her.

To let everything else fall away

And feel the flow of her through us.

So when you see these photos I take, these photos I share, remember: they are the love of the Universe.

She wants you to see, too.

How do you feel when you see Beauty? How do you make room for the flow of the Universe?

I have to say that I’m bad about being in flow with the Universe. I tend to be perfectionistic and controlling.

When I see or feel Beauty, really see it, then I stop and re-connect and know that the Universe can deliver more perfection than I can ever imagine.

Extra lovely post because it made me stop and think about beauty. Thank you 🙂

Teresa what a beautiful post. You can definitely feel the soul connection you have with Nature. Your camera is your means to express Divine Beauty and you do that superbly! xo

I love the way you see the beauty in your world Teresa. The fact that you so generously share it with us makes it all the more luscious.

When I see beauty if feels like expansion and appreciation. It wells up inside of me with a big YES! This creates lots of space for the magic of the Universe to flow in.

Oh wow, this really touched me at the right moment Teresa, I have tears in my eyes! This is such a wonderful message – it’s all around us and the universe really is on our side! Sometimes something will catch my eye and pull me back into the now, into flow and everything makes sense again. Thank you for sharing this xox

Hi Teresa! Reading this was like a virtual bubble bath:-) Perfect for bedtime! When I see beauty I feel grateful that I’m able to see the beauty that’s all around. To really stop and notice. One way I make room for the flow of the universe is by taking naps. Lovely piece!

    I love this:

She leaves us notes of love scrawled in the language of Beauty and Wonder. Whispering our stories to us in shimmering curves. Revealing the keys to the world in tiny droplets. Awakening our very souls with sensuous hues.

I can sense your love and admiration for nature and how you feel a part of the universe. Your love notes, i.e. photos, are a great reminder to stop and see the beauty. Thank you.

Delightful! I sometimes chastise myself for spending too much time looking out my office window, especially now as I can see where the woodpeckers have made a nest in an old tree. I tend to spend chunks of the day, just watching to see when they come and go, looking forward to the day the little ones start to appear. But that’s probably when I’m most in the flow with the Universe, when I stop and enjoy the beauty and joy! Thank you.

You know what I tend to see most? The divine perfection in the human body. It’s absolutely amazing the perfection in its design, and it knocks me off my feet every time I take a moment to notice.

Love notes from the Universe – I positively LOVE this title!! I love summer because we have a seasonal camper up north on a river. It is my favorite time of the year reconnecting and communing with nature. I shall now become more aware of the “love notes” the universe is sprinkling everywhere for me to find. What a lovely way to think of it. Thank you. ♥

  1. When is a flower a butterfly? When it’s a Butterfly Resonance Image - June 14, 2013

[…] This is what my photos do. They look past the framework of petals and leaves, and see the energy of butterflies deep within each flower, each beautiful Love Note. […]
