My husband turned 50, so I put together a small surprise party.
For days on end I talked to people, organized things and shopped. But when John came home at the end of each day, I couldn’t tell him anything about it!
Whew! That was harder than I thought it would be!
Of course he suspected the surprise, and we actually missed our cue to jump up and yell it, but it was a fun party with lots of great friends, good food, and funny stories.
Today, we recovered. Returned the house to something close to its usual state. Had farewell brunch with our friends who traveled a long way to be here this weekend. Napped. Watched TV.
Tomorrow, we return to our hearts, our world, our lives.

This week there will be a Shared Shaman’s Choice Session, and a new Shaman’s Voice Pendulum will begin its journey to its new home. There will be poetry and images, marketing and financial work. There will be laundry and treadmilling and conversations and tea.
And there will be so many butterflies!
