Revealed: Five of Thankfulness

Macro photo of magnolia petals littering green grass. Gratitude Tarot card Five of Thankfulness: Beauty remains, ready to be seen, ready to save you.

Five of Thankfulness

the aching pull of loss

breaks open my tired heart

       unleashing remnants
            of long-ago stories

fairy tales grown weary

                shattering my blue sky
      into glittering shards

that fall to earth

in shimmering arcs

shining rainbows

                    asserting their Beauty
                       eclipses this fleeting pain

calling me to see with eyes
           freshly tuned

to audacious Beauty

ready to be saved by her

Interpretation:
Losses litter the background. In your need, seek help. Notice the Beauty
that remains, keeping your heart open to receive and share her gifts.

    Teresa, absolutely beautiful.

The interpretation is particularly poignant for me, “Losses litter the background. In your need, seek help. Notice the Beauty that remains, keeping your heart open to receive and share her gifts.”

    Thank you for this. xoxo

This image is striking… when I first looked, I thought it was an overturned garbage can spilling out papers onto a large expanse of grass. I didn’t realize right away it was a broken flower.

It makes me think of a quote from the band Frou Frou: “there’s beauty in the breakdown” So too is the beauty and grace it takes putting the pieces back together. A lovely card.
